The Build Journey

Stage 1

Initial Assessment & Planning

The 1970 Mustang arrived as a solid roller with good bones but in need of complete restoration. We stripped it down to the bare shell, assessed the metalwork, and created a comprehensive build plan targeting a modern pro-touring setup while maintaining classic Mustang DNA.

Initial car assessment

Stage 2

Bodywork & Metal Fabrication

Complete media blasting revealed areas requiring metalwork. We fabricated new floor pans, repaired rust in the quarters, and reinforced the chassis mounting points. Every panel was hand-fitted to perfection before moving to paint prep.

Stage 3

Suspension & Drivetrain

The heart of any pro-touring build is the suspension. We installed a complete coilover front end with rack and pinion steering, plus a 4-link rear with Panhard rod. The 347 stroker was built for reliable street performance with modern EFI.

Engine installation

Stage 4

Paint & Finishing

The signature Grabber Green metallic was applied in multiple stages: epoxy primer, base color, pearl effect, and finally three coats of clear. Each stage was wet sanded and polished to achieve the deep, mirror-like finish you see today.

Stage 5

Final Assembly & Testing

With the paint cured, we carefully assembled all components, installed the custom interior, and performed extensive testing. Road testing ensured everything performed flawlessly before delivery to the owner.
